Sta per arrivare la nuova edizione dello Yellow Fest, il festival internazionale dell’improvvisazione organizzato da Teatribù.
Dal 13 al 15 febbraio 2026, il Teatro Andrea Villa presso Teatribù si trasformerà in un punto d’incontro per improvvisatori, allievi e appassionati provenienti da tutta Europa.
Tre giorni di spettacoli, workshop e jam aperte, con ospiti internazionali che porteranno sul palco linguaggi, tecniche e stili diversi dell’improvvisazione contemporanea.
L’edizione 2026 conferma la sua vocazione di festival aperto, curioso e inclusivo, in cui la comunità si incontra per condividere creatività, gioco e ricerca scenica.
Il programma prevede workshop da 6 e 3 ore, spettacoli serali con compagnie italiane e straniere, e momenti di scambio e convivialità che da sempre contraddistinguono l’atmosfera di Teatribù.

Notice Everything
Teacher: Kelly Agathos
Duration & Level: 6 hours – for students with up to 2 years of experience
Description:
During improv shows, we sometimes try to do too much—or miss what’s right in front of us. This workshop is a reminder that we are already enough. Kelly will guide you through exercises that focus on presence, connection, eye contact, and emotion. You’ll learn to slow down, trust the moment, and create meaning from what’s already there on stage.

Split Screen & Funky Scenes

Description:
Explore the cinematic side of improv! This class dives into split screens, barndoor edits, and other complex transitions that make our scenes feel like live films. You’ll learn how to make your intentions clear, handle misunderstandings playfully, and use mistakes as creative opportunities.

- Gain clarity in stage communication and transitions

Now You See It
Teacher: Feña Ortalli

Description:
A deep exploration of space, focus, and visual storytelling. Feña invites you to make invisible worlds visible through presence, spatial awareness, and relational balance. You’ll work on how to “see” the environment you’re creating—and make your audience see it too.
Objectives & Key Themes:
- Develop awareness of stage space and physical storytelling
- Balance focus, power, and movement among players
- Strengthen visual composition and nonverbal expression
- Build worlds that are coherent and alive to the audience

The Tiny Glass Person
Teacher: Feña Ortalli

Description:
What if your next character was inspired by an object? In this poetic and playful class, you’ll create characters born from the essence of things—glass, fire, sea, wood, or anything else. You’ll explore their emotions, rhythms, strengths, and flaws, discovering new layers of humanity in every creation.

- Explore character creation through metaphor and object work
- Build physical and emotional consistency
- Connect imagination and embodiment
- Develop nuanced, poetic storytelling

Chasing the Box
Teacher: Kasia Chmara

Description:
Thinking outside the box is hard—but what if the trick was to chase the box instead? Through structured creative thinking, Kasia will help you explore how limitations can spark innovation. You’ll work with inventive exercises that train the mind to find freedom within structure, and creativity within rules.

Desires
Teacher: Kasia Chmara

Description:
Every decision creates a new story. In Desires, you’ll explore how the choices of your characters shape the narrative. Through inner dialogues, dreams, and moral conflicts, we’ll follow heroes at crossroads—torn between want and need—and reveal what truly drives them.

- Explore decision-making as a storytelling engine
- Understand the difference between “want” and “need”
- Build emotionally rich, multi-dimensional characters

Yellow Fest instructors are actors, improvisers, and trainers with years of experience on stage and in theater education. Coming from diverse artistic backgrounds and enriched by international collaborations, they bring technical expertise, passion, and creativity to the classroom.
